Frank, self-appraising and psychologically revealing, these 45 minute interviews are broadcast weekly during the BBC Proms season, July to September. Lebrecht interviews this year include the violinist Hilary Hahn, Michael Kaiser President of the John F. Kennedy for the Performing Arts in Washington, the conductor Vladimir Ashkenazy and to start the season the American born early music specialist William Christie.
