A Game of Two Halves is your English football podcast home with a regular weekly show on the English Premier League published every mid-week. We never let facts get in the way of a good opinion so subscribe now to ensure you dont miss an episode! Well, the 100th show is up but no royal recognition as yet - maybe Liz hasn't got to her iPod yet. We may be centenarians (thanks spellcheck) but there's no slowing down after a week that had more matches than you could poke a stick at. FA Cup, Champs League, UEFA Cup, there was even room for 9 Premier League matches. And whilst the FA Cup results probably mean that Fergie will be inducted into the Whingers Hall of Fame, it almost certainly means no UEFA Cup for 6th place - unless Cardiff win the FA Cup. A blow to the likes of Villa. So we've a bit of a mega roundup, before we mull over Uncle Sepp's latest rantings, this time about tackling - there shouldn't be any. And then to the preview and this week it's a threesome, as Andrew joins us. Andrew will be filling in for me as I take a 4 week break in Thailand. Material witness in Thaksin's court case. Very hush, hush. Can't say more.
A weekly AFL fantasy football podcast, with news and views on Dream Team, Super Coach and other fantasy comps This week we had no guest, but we tried out the live podcasting feature on Talkshoe. The results weren't too bad. Maybe next week we will figure out how to do live talkback! There were two games in the NAB Cup this week and plenty of players to discuss: Jason Laycock, David Hille, Steven King, Michael Gardiner, Angus Monfries, David Armitage, Clinton Jones, Nick Riewoldt, Charlie Gardiner, Luke Ball, Brad Symes, Jason Porplyzia, Kurt Tippett, James Sellar, Brent Guerra, Grant Birchall, Xavier Ellis, Cyril Rioli, Jarryd Morton, Tim Clarke, Lance Franklin and Stuart Dew all got a mention. We also went through the Fantasy Freako e-newsletter (hosted by our friends over at DT Talk) with Dream Team scores from this week's NAB Challenge games, and identified a fair few interesting scores: Jonathan Brown, Adam Hartlett, Lachie Hansen, Josh Hill, Gavin Urquhart, Cameron Wood, Shaun Rusling, Daniel Gilmore, Shane Valenti, Matthew Bate, Shaun Burgoyne, Brendon Lade, Kayne Pettifer, Nick Stevens, Barry Hall, Jessie White, Jamie McNamara, Scott Selwood, Matthew Spangher, Jaymie Graham, Matt Priddis, Mark Nicoski, Brad Ebert, Ben Hudson and Peter Street were all discussed. Finally, we talked a bit about the ever-competitive league scene, with BigFooty setting up a huge league structure this week.
